who i am, where i’ve been

born @ chicago, il 04.25.1986

since then the following major and minor events have occurred in my life:

1988 moved from chicago to vernon hills
1990 baby bro jonen was born, 6.27
1992 spent 6 months @ korea, forgot all my english.
1992 starting piano lessons at 6 and a half years old.
1993 esl kindergarten, relearning english. (korea is pronounced koh-ree-uh, not koh-ree)
1994-2000 elementary, middle, and junior high school. don’t remember much.
2000-2002, summers month-long trips to paris, france, with mini-vacas to various other countries (uk, germany, belgium, switz, austria) with our piano teacher. an attempt to make us more cultured, we studied french 7 hours a day, but it was worth it for the bread.
2000-2004 high school @ vhhs. did the high school thing. made some friends. soul-searched. etc.
2001 moved to libertyville (20 min from old house -_-).
2002, winter winter retreat, i experienced God, accepted and believed His existence. but i still didn’t know who He was… or who i was before Him
2004 college: u of i. second choice after carnegie mellon, but a decision i’m glad i made
